Slava Ukraini!VIDEO PODCAST: Slava Ukraini! - recorded on 24 February 2022, the day the world woke up to the news that Vladimir Putin's Russian forces had invaded Ukraine. A fifty minute video which also features Caitríona O'Leary and Eric Fraad discussing their new film Island of Saints, and pays tribute to Joseph Horovitz, Malcolm Troup and Maria Nockin.

Ida Levin

American violinist Ida Levin was born in Santa Monica, California in 1963. She began violin studies aged three, and first played professionally at the age of ten, with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.

She played recitals, concertos and chamber music internationally, recorded for Dynamic, EMI, Music Masters, Nonesuch, Philips and Stereophile, and wrote articles for Strings magazine.

She died from leukaemia on 18 November 2016, aged fifty-three.
