Born in Tel Aviv on 31 August 1945 was the violinist Itzhak Perlman. He studied at the Juilliard and was quickly in world demand as a soloist. His excursions into chamber music were in liason with Daniel Barenboim, Pinchas Zukerman and other international soloists.
