Australian Festival of Chamber Music

The Australian Festival of Chamber Music, directed since 2022 by Jack Liebeck, is the largest festival in the southern hemisphere dedicated to chamber repertoire. It was founded in 1990 for a first festival in July 1991, is held annually in Townsville, North Queensland, and also features food, regional tours, masterclasses and series of lectures, mainly on subjects relating to the Great Barrier Reef.
