Young British-German violinist Jack Liebeck was born in London on 4 August 1980. He made his London recital debut at the Wigmore Hall in 2002 and has a broad repertoire of recital, chamber and concerto repertoire. He is the violinist of Paris-based Trio Dali, professor of violin at the Royal Academy of Music and artistic director of the Oxford May Music Festival.
He has been artistic director of the Australian Festival of Chamber Music since 2022.
He plays the 'Ex-Wilhelmj' J B Guadagnini violin of 1785 and a Joseph Henry bow on loan from Kathron Sturrock.
