The Montreal-based classical record label ATMA Classique was created in the mid 1990s. The company records musicians from Canada and from many other countries, and its recordings are distributed in over twenty-five different countries, and are available online. A catalogue of more than three hundred recordings includes medieval and contemporary music, and much in between, including traditional, world music, tango, popular song and experimental works. The catalogue also includes recordings which have won Félix (Quebec) and Juno (Canada) Music Awards.
