The Hertfordshire Chorus and David Temple return with their third release on Signum Classics, with a recording of Karl Jenkins' The Armed Man, released in January ahead of the composer's eightieth birthday in February. The album features the first recording of Jenkins' ensemble version of his popular work, written as an alternative for when the full symphonic version is not possible. The Hertfordshire Chorus is one of the UK's finest symphonic choirs, joined on this recording by mezzo-soprano Kathryn Rudge, muezzin Osama Kiwan and cellist Jamal Aliyev along with the London Orchestra da Camera.

Recorded 19-20 November 2022 at St Augustine's Church, Kilburn Park Road, London NW6, UK.
