Jeff Talman

American soundspace installation artist and composer Jeff Talman was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania in 1954 and is based in New York. He studied music composition at New York City College. He later studied at Columbia University, began using computers to compose sounds and conducted orchestras. Later still he began to create installations using ambient sound.
