Bent Sørensen

Danish composer Bent Sørensen was born on 18 July 1958.  He studied composition at the Royal Danish Academy of Music with Ib Nørholm and at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus with Per Nørgård.

Sørensen's L'isola della Città (2016) won the 2018 Grawemeyer Award for Music Composition.
