Russian composer Evgeny Aleksandrovich Shiryaev was born in Leningrad on 23 September 1943 and died in Odintsovo on 2 November 2023, aged eighty, leaving an output of instrumental concertos, operas, ballets, vocal works and music for more than a hundred films.
