Eric Pettine

Eric Pettine earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Rhode Island College and a Master of Music Degree from the University of RI. He lives with his family in Rhode Island, where he was a full-time music educator for thirty-one years until retirement in 2019.

As a professional trombonist he has performed with the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra and Brass Quintet, The American Band of R I, Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus Band, Ice Capades, Capitol Records recording artists 'Tavares', Bel Canto Opera Company and Theatre-By-The-Sea, among others.

He has had articles published in RIMER (Rhode Island Music Educators Review), Music & Vision, All About Jazz and American Chronicle.
