Antarctica, Earth's least populated and southernmost continent, has been the inspiration for various musical works, including Ralph Vaughan Williams' Sinfonia Antarctica, Peter Maxwell Davies' Antarctic Symphony, Howard Goodall's Shackleton's Cross, Nigel Westlake's Antarctic Suite, Alex Wurman's March of the Penguins, Josh Wynter's Antarctica and Simone Chiappi's Shackleton the Musical. There's also a Belgian record label called Antarctica Records.
