Friedrich Witt

German composer Friedrich Witt was born 8 November 1770 at what is now Niederstetten, Württemberg. His various posts in Würzburg (where he died on 3 January 1836) provided outlets for his operas, symphonies, masses, oratorios, cantatas and chamber music.
