Sibelius: Luonnotar

Luonnotar is a 1913 tone poem by Jean Sibelius for soprano soloist and orchestra, steeped in Finnish mythology with words based on the nineteenth century Kalevala. It was dedicated to Finnish soprano Aino Ackté who gave the first performance on 10 September 1913 at the Three Choirs Festival in Gloucester, UK.
