Russian pianist and piano teacher Vadim Suchanov was born in Vladivostok in 1949. Leaving Moscow in about 1980 he was based in Munich, Germany, for most of his life.
His students included Julia Froschhammer, Béla Hartmann, Zoran Imširović, Judith Jáuregui, Margarita Oganesjan, Dmitrij Romanov, Vadim Rudenko, Vestards Šimkus and Alexandra Troussova.
Vadim Suchanov died on about 17 February 2024, aged seventy-four or seventy-five, in complete obscurity, after withdrawing into a life of little contact with others.
