Norwegian pianist, actor and model Natalia Strelle (also known as Natalia Strelchenko) was born in Russia on 23 December 1976. She studied in St Petersburg and Oslo. At the age of twelve she performed with the St Petersburg Symphony Orchestra. She played at Carnegie Hall and at Wigmore Hall.
She lived in Norway for fifteen years and then moved to Manchester, England. She ran the Menestrelles International Chamber Music Academy.
She died suddenly in the early hours of 30 August 2015, aged thirty-eight, from severe head and neck injuries, at home in Newton Heath, Manchester. Her partner, forty-seven-year-old Norwegian double bass player John Martin, was convicted of her murder.
