Melism Records

Melism Records is a classical CD label, possibly based in France. Many of the label's CDs have been recorded in France, and its CDs are manufactured in Germany. At the time of writing, the label ran its operation from a not very informative Facebook page and didn't have a website.

A selection of articles about Melism Records

CD Spotlight. Stylistically Varied - Geoff Pearce recommends music by Mikis Theodorakis and Jani Christou. '... the varied moods, colours and textures are brought vividly to life.'

CD Spotlight. Undoubted Historical Importance - Paul Sarcich listens to music by Nikos Skalkottas. '... Skalkottas is no slave of Schoenberg - he has his own take on Schoenberg's methods and one could not confuse the two.'
