Maxim Paster

Ukrainian tenor Maxim Paster was born on 4 December 1975 in Kharkov, where he studied singing and choral conducting.

He began his career in Ukraine and at the Bolshoi in Russia, where he sang regularly. He also appeared at the Salzburg Festival, Opéra national de Paris Bastille, Bayerische Staatsoper, and at New York Metropolitan Opera.

Maxim Paster died suddenly in Makhachkala, Russia on either 31 August 2023 or 1 September 2023, aged forty-seven.
