Robert Merrill

Robert Merrill, the American baritone, was born in Brooklyn on 4 June 1917, sang in Toscanini's opera recordings and enjoyed a long career at the Met in New York with popular baritone roles. He died in New Rochelle, NY, on 23 October 2004.
