Gregory Moomjy received his Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University. He earned his bachelors in Historical Musicology from Fordham University. Opera is his life-long passion, his critical reviews and commentaries have been published in New Jersey Monthly, Opera Today, Wolfgang's Tonic, Pro Ópera and Music & Vision. He is also a grant writer and researcher for Gotham Chamber Opera in New York City, where he lives.
He is totally immersed in the world of opera, both as a fan and a scholar, and has seen performances in venues around the world such as New York’s Metropolitan Opera, Santa Fe Opera Festival and the Salzburg Festival.
