American pianist Elizabeth Moak studied at Peabody Conservatory of Music at Johns Hopkins University in the USA and at Neuchâtel Conservatory in Switzerland. She has won the Mu Phi Epsilon International Competition and several US national competitions for her solo playing, including the National Federation of Music Clubs Biennial Auditions. She has also received awards for her collaborative work from the Music Academy of the West and Peabody Conservatory.
She has performed extensively in the USA and Europe, and has given recent concerts in Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Québec. She has also appeared as a soloist on US national television, radio, and with orchestras including the Orchestre de Chambre de Neuchâtel, the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, and the Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra.
Since 2004 she has taught at The University of Southern Mississippi, where she is currently Associate Professor of Piano.
