Anna Mnich

Guitarist Anna Mnich was born in Poland and began playing guitar, aged ten, in the studio of Amadeusz Kokot.  She studied at the Academy of Music in Katowice and with Wanda Palacz and David Starobin at the Manhattan School of Music.

Based in Brooklyn, New York, USA, she has appeared at New York City venues such as the New York Historical Society, the Long Island Guitar Festival, the Pilsudski Institute, the 9/11 Commemoration Ceremony, Collabfest and at Dance Now - Joe's Pub Festival.

She has recorded with the Polish Radio National Symphony Orchestra of Katowice and has given concerts in Poland, Slovakia and Hungary as a member of the Silesian Guitar Octet.
