Vladimir Jurowski
Russian conductor Vladimir Jurowski was born in Moscow on 4 April 1972 and studied at the Moscow Conservatory then in Dresden and Berlin. He was music director at Glyndebourne Opera from 2001 until 2013 and Principal Conductor of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Russian Federation from 2011 until 2021. Since 2021 he has been Generalmusikdirektor at Bavarian State Opera.
