Bengt Hambraeus

Swedish-Canadian composer, musicologist and organist Bengt Hambraeus was born in Stockholm on 29 January 1928.

He worked at the Swedish Radio music department, then later taught composition at McGill University in Canada.

He wrote for a wide range of forces, but is mostly remembered for his organ music.

Bengt Hambraeus died at Glen Roy, Ontario on 21 September 2000.
