Goldsmiths College

Goldsmiths College was founded in 1891 as Goldsmiths' Technical and Recreative Institute by the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, on the site of the Royal Naval School at New Cross, London, UK. In 1904 the organisation became part of London University and first took its current name. In the 1960s the college expanded considerably.
