Colin Albin, born in Liverpool on 3 June 1951, fell in love with classical music in 1975 whilst he was a student in the Midlands. His other interests included jazz, walking, swimming and reading.
He lived with his wife in Cheshire, working in HR and recruitment for most of his life, then, following a cardiac arrest in 2013, sold his recruitment business in order to devote his time to writing.
He also spent several years in the Church of England Ministry, during which time he gained a Masters Degree in World Religions and carried the role of Diocesan Inter-Faith Adviser.
Colin Albin passed away on 21 July 2021, aged seventy.
