Composer and pianist Alicia Rytlewski has announced her debut album, When We Were Bears, a contemporary classical record with the intimacy and warmth of the most approachable singer-songwriter albums. Composed over eight years across Wisconsin, from a biodynamic farm in rural Campbellsport to the snow-blanketed streets of Milwaukee, Rytlewski’s songs draw inspiration from the state - its climate, its soil, its people. Each composition brims with movement and wonder, chronicling the rhythms of the seasons and the heart alike.
