Jaqueline C Tu

Born in Taiwan, pianist Chia-Ying Jaqueline Tu gave her first public recital at Kaohsiung Music Hall at the age of eighteen. Besides a scholarship from the Yamaha Music Foundation, she has won many prizes in Taiwan including the National Music Contest. She is currently a postgraduate piano student at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

She loves making travel notes and random doodles, listening to 1930s jazz, and she watches at least one film a day. Jaqueline is also the author of Life around the Piano, a short-lived series of articles published in Music & Vision Magazine in 2013.
