David Raskin

The well-known American film composer David Raskin was born in Philadelphia on 4 August 1912. Among others, Raskin wrote the film music for Charlie Chaplin's Modern Times and the 1983 blockbuster The Day After. Overall, Raskin composed music for more than one hundred and seventy movies and television shows.

David Raskin died in Los Angeles on 9 August 2004. He was ninety-two.
