Vincent Novello

The English music publisher Novello was founded by Vincent Novello in 1811 when he was organist of the Portuguese Embassy Chapel in London. Born on 6 September 1781, he was later a founder member of the Philharmonic Society. He died on 9 August 1861 at Nice in France.
