Andrew Millington

British organist Andrew Millington, born in 1952, studied at King's School Worcester and Worcester Cathedral with Harry Bramma and Christopher Robinson. He was organ scholar at Downing College Cambridge and then worked as assistant organist at Gloucester Cathedral, developing a career as organist, conductor and teacher, and conducting the Aldwyn Consort of Voices, Birmingham Bach Society, Kidderminster Choral Society and the Saint Cecilia Singers. From 1983 until 1999, he was as organist and master of the choristers at Guildford Cathedral, and from 1999 he has been director of music at Exeter Cathedral. Besides training and directing the cathedral choir, he gives organ recitals, examines for the Associated Board and conducts the Exeter Philharmonic Choir.
