Jacqueline Dark

Australian mezzo Jacqueline Dark was born in Ballarat, Victoria in 1967 or 1968. She studied at the Victorian College of the Arts and performed with the Australian National Academy of Music, the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, Melbourne Chorale, Opera Australia, Orchestra Victoria, Pinchgut Opera, Queensland Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Society, the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Victorian State Opera, Vienna State Opera, the West Australian Symphony Orchestra

Jacqueline Dark was diagnosed with a rare cancer in 2022 and she died in Sydney on 3 October 2023, aged fifty-five.
