Robert Craft

Robert Craft, an American musician of wide accomplishment was born in Kingston, New York on 20 October 1923. His close association with Stravinsky, and the volumes of conversations between them has almost obliterated his skills as a conductor (a pupil of Pierre Monteux) and as a musicologist.

Robert Craft died in Gulf Stream, Florida, on 10 November 2015, aged ninety-two.
