Origin Classical

Origin Classical is a recent offshoot of Seattle-based Origin Records, a jazz label created by drummer John Bishop in 1997. The label explores the connections between classical and jazz, the increasing role of improvisation in classical music and presents some of the work of its jazz artists crossing into the classical world. The label is currently accepting unsolicited demos from new artists.
