Jussi Björling

Jussi Björling was born 5 February 1911 in Borlänge, Sweden. He studied opera in Stockholm as the basis of a celebrated career as an operatic tenor. He was heard at both Covent Garden and the Met in New York. He died in Sweden on 9 September 1960.
