Emile Jacques-Dalcroze

Eurhythmics, a method for rhythmical expression through physical movement, stems from the work of Emile Jacques-Dalcroze, a Swiss teacher and composer who was born in Vienna on 6 July 1865 and died in Geneva on 1 July 1950. He composed five operas, orchestral and chamber music.
