Slava Ukraini!VIDEO PODCAST: Slava Ukraini! - recorded on 24 February 2022, the day Europe woke up to the news that Vladimir Putin's Russian forces had invaded Ukraine. A fifty minute video which also features Caitríona O'Leary and Eric Fraad discussing their new film Island of Saints, and pays tribute to Joseph Horovitz, Malcolm Troup and Maria Nockin.

Victor Babin

Russian pianist and composer Victor Babin was born in Moscow on 13 December 1908. He studied in Berlin with both Schnabel and Schreker, and departed for America in 1937. His marriage and partnership with Vitya Vronsky brought them fame as a piano duo. In 1961 he became Director of the Cleveland Institute of Music, and died in Cleveland on 1 March 1972.
