Tiara Ataii studied at the Royal College of Music Junior Department and studies music at Cambridge University.
As a singer, she has sung in masterclasses with Sarah Walker, and has been broadcast on BBC Radio 3 singing the soprano solo in Nicholas Maw's One Foot in Eden.
Tiara is also a composer and has written music for the Paris première of the film No Land's Song. She is currently writing music for the silent film Grass, as well song settings for the play Colomba to be performed in Marseille.
She is also highly interested in Persian studies, and directs the online journal The Persepolis Forum.
