Slava Ukraini!VIDEO PODCAST: Slava Ukraini! - recorded on 24 February 2022, the day the world woke up to the news that Vladimir Putin's Russian forces had invaded Ukraine. Jehan Alain

French organist and composer Jehan Alain was born at Saint-Germain-en-Laye on 3 February 1911.

His career was cut short by World War II - he died in combat at Saumur on 20 June 1940, aged twenty-nine.
